Evening Appointments Coming September 2026
Life doesn’t always fit neatly into a 9–5 schedule. Beginning this September, I will be offering limited evening appointments to provide more flexibility for clients balancing work, family, and daily responsibilities.
Chloe Schroeder, LCSW
I’ve always loved the beauty and power of mountains and the journey it takes to get the best view. This serves as a reminder that meaningful growth often requires patience and hard work. My goal is to support you as you work toward your own personal summit.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a graduate of Fordham University. I specialize in trauma-informed care and utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process difficult experiences and reduce distressing symptoms. I am trained in EMDR and currently working towards EMDR certification.
I also incorporate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients better understand patterns, manage emotions, and develop coping skills.
This Is A Practice Designed With Intention
I’m a mom first, and I’ve intentionally built my practice around both my family and the quality of care I provide to my clients. Because of this, my availability looks a little different from a traditional therapy practice.
I offer evening appointments Monday — Wednesday and daytime appointments on Fridays. I am a part-time therapist and maintain a smaller caseload, which allows me to be intentional about the clients I work with and the care I provide.
I recognize that my limited availability may not be the right fit for everyone. For those who are able to work within my schedule, however, this structure allows for a more focused and individualized therapy experience.
Most clients will have a standing weekly or biweekly appointment, or a frequency determined together based on clinical need. This structure works best for clients who value consistency and are looking for an ongoing therapeutic relationship rather than on-demand or same-day support.
I offer in-person and virtual therapy for children, teens, and adults across New York State and Pennsylvania. I provide a supportive space where you can share your experiences and develop new skills. If this all sounds like a good fit for you, l’d love to connect!
While I support clients through a wide range of life challenges, my primary focus is using EMDR to help individuals heal from:
Perinatal Mental Health
- all stages of the perinatal journey
- postpartum depression & anxiety
- birth trauma
- identity shifts in motherhood
Depression & Anxiety
- generalized anxiety
- intrusive thoughts
- obsessive patterns
- panic symptoms
- major depression
Trauma
- childhood trauma
- medical or relational trauma
- distressing past or recent experiences that continue to impact the present
FAQs
How often should I come to counseling?
1
Treatment generally begins with weekly sessions. As we move forward, we’ll reassess and establish a cadence that best fits your needs and goals.
How do I get started?
2
Getting started is simple. Reach out through the contact form and I will first get in touch to confirm you are in-network/payment choice. We will schedule a brief consultation to discuss your goals for treatment.
*To see in-network insurance plans
Will we meet in-person or online?
3
We can meet in person or virtually; whichever feels most comfortable for you. My office is located in Chemung County, NY. For virtual sessions, I simply ask that you or any child/teen participating have access to a private space to support the best therapeutic experience. We may have to assess the appropriateness of virtual sessions if this is not possible.
Can I see you outside of NY or PA?
4
Because of state licensing requirements, I can only work with individuals who are located in the states where I am currently licensed to practice which is New York and Pennsylvania.
